Personal Development is an All-Over Experience
Personal development should be an all over experience. Why improve in one area of life if you aren’t going to strive for overall improvement? So for this reason I will also cover topics on health, beauty, fitness, exercise, nutrition, stress reduction, meditation–anything I can think of that will help you achieve your goals of becoming a better person.
In order to really feel good about ourselves we need to make changes as a whole. They do not need to be drastic; I believe in starting small. You often hear the term “baby steps”. Some people think you won’t get very far making baby steps. Well, think about this; If baby steps don’t move you forward, how come babies can get into everything so quickly? Ah, you see, they can accomplish many things. It’s all in determination. A baby doesn’t know about limitations, he/she only knows they want to get where they are going and they get there pretty fast.
What can you do today to get going? Just get up and get moving. Try some gentle stretches. You don’t have to jump into a full-blown exercise routine right out of the gate–just start with some nice stretches. If you’ve been inactive for awhile you’ll need those muscles loosened up and get some length back in them before starting hard and heavy on fitness anyway. So spend a few minutes each day this weekend, and stretch.
